MarTech Challenge winning team announced
The three first-ranked teams in MarTech Challenge pitched their solutions to the jury and audience at KAKTUS 2019 – the Fifth National Integrated Communications Festival, during the Innovation Day held at the Madlenianum, and the award for the best young start-up in the field of marketing went to Emitto team.
The best team, as voted by the jury and the audience, won the trip to one of the most anticipated conferences in marketing technology – MarTech Conference in California, as well as a mentoring program run by DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions.
“The start-up ecosystem in Serbia is constantly evolving, and the progress is being made, both in terms of investments in local start-ups and in terms of strengthening the cooperation between the traditional corporate sector and start-ups. I hope that this initiative helped us take another step towards more dynamic collaboration between start-ups and agencies. I believe that the winner and finalists of the competition will benefit from this cooperation and further develop their solutions, as well as promote their work”, said Jovan Stojanović, Director of DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions and president of the jury.
The winner of the competition, organized by DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions, presented the Emitto platform that allows brands and online portals to communicate directly with audiences through messaging channels such as Facebook Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp, etc.
“Taking part in MarTech Challenge was a great way to validate that we are on the right track and that the problem of effective content distribution is a real one. This was an opportunity to introduce the broader marketing community to Emitto, and the direct contact with DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions representatives helped us to better understand real-world issues and market needs. We are very happy that our start-up Emitto.io, despite tough competition, has been named the best young start-up in the field of marketing”, said Nikola Cvetković, founder and CEO of Emitto start-up.
The winner of the competition was chosen by the jury comprising Jovan Stojanović, CEO of DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions, Dejan Ranđić, Founder of ICT HUB & General Manager of DNA Communications, Zoja Kukić, Program Director for Startup Ecosystem in the Digital Serbia Initiative, Marko Mudrinić, Co-Founder & Managing Director of Netokracija, Ivana Parčetić Mitić Founder & CEO of Marketing mreža.
