Societe Generale successfully launched the second season of Generator, the big competition focused on the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises. Among the partners backing the Generator 2.0 mission is Direct Media, which will provide the winner with a marketing transformation and media campaign.
Three winners of the Generator 2.0 will secure consulting support in their businesses’ digital transformation by means of digital technology. The digital transformation will include a comprehensive business analysis and recommendations with an action plan, implementation of one of the proposed recommendations amounting up to 5,000 euros, as well as a marketing transformation and media campaign.
The expert jury panel — made up of professionals specialized in entrepreneurship, innovation, digital transformation, and marketing — will select 20 semi-finalists who will move for the next selection round and partake in creative workshops that will take place in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, and Čačak. This will be an opportunity for the selected participants to learn the building blocks for the digital evolution of their businesses with the help of the transformation team.
All 20 semi-finalists will be presented on the Generator 2.0 website in videos that they will be able to use in promoting their businesses, and the contender that wins the most audience votes in the public voting phase will win the digital transformation. The other two digital transformations will be fought out between the ten finalists that make it through to the next stage of the competition as the expert jury panel decides. Societe Generale will provide the semi-finalists with media promotion, as well as open and maintain the Business Prestige account for legal entities for a period of one year free of charge.
The second cycle of the Generator competition is organized by the bank this year again in partnership with the ICT Hub center for technology entrepreneurship and innovation alongside many other partners.
Generator is one of Societe Generale‘s key projects that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and innovative business in Serbia. The first cycle of the competition, which took place last year, was launched to mark Societe Generale’s 40 years on the Serbian market, with the prize pool for the best entrepreneurial innovation totaling at 1,500,000 dinars. Generator Fluo — the competition for the best student entrepreneurial innovations — took place in 2018, and the winners had the opportunity to spend seven days in Societe Generale Group’s innovative technology hub in Paris.
