Direct Media is known as a system that engages young talents and invests in the knowledge and education of its employees. We feel honored that Direct Media Academy is the educational partner of ARK Branding Symposium, which was the occasion for our interview with Marija Matić.
#1 Do you think that the arrival of experts like Martin is important for professionals in the field and why? Who needs knowledge of the brand and who has the most to learn from what Martin says?
Belgrade lacks great advertising events and big names like Martin Lindstrom. Such speaker brings us closer to current trends and puts us where we need to be, along with the best experts and biggest names in global marketing. I am eagerly awaiting Martin’s lecture primarily because of the topic of Small Data. At a time when there is a lot of talk about large numbers, we often forget that big numbers actually lead to clear conclusions. I think the book Small Data brings us back to the essence and shows the true purpose of research and analysis. The right conclusions always seem to be simple and true, and reveal the essence of the change.
#2 Direct Media Academy is the educational partner of ARK Regional Branding Symposium and sponsor of the first Martin’s lecture entitled “In search of desire”. Why did you choose this lecture and what are your expectations?
Because we want to support the great enthusiasm and professionalism you show!
Because you are brave, modern, and smart. Because we know the importance of education and that such speakers enhance the quality of the entire market. Because we expect to get a new powerful generation of advertising experts after this conference.
#3 What do you think about ARK’s creative idea and the concept of Noah’s ark that inspired the project?
When we first saw the creative idea, we were really impressed with your talent and the entire concept. Among other things, it was the creative concept that clearly explained the goal of the whole conference to us. So we decided to get into your ark and embark on a voyage with you.
#4 For the week following ARC, Direct Media is organizing Direct Media Academy, a regional educational program, which is held for the ninth time. What can experts in the field expect from the 9th Direct Media Academy and who will you invite to take part?
Direct Media Academy is the central educational project of Direct Media. As of last year, it is open to the public. As market leaders, we have decided to share our knowledge and presentations of guest speakers not only with people working in the system, but, above all, with our partners. As of this year, Direct Media is open to anyone who believes that communication is still the most important aspect of advertising. This is exactly what we will discuss. Using two modules that cover branding and modern communication, in the first three days of the Academy we will guide the participants through contemporary trends, modern advertising, new media and presenting innovative tools that will help them create an effective campaign. On the fourth day of the conference, we will have two interesting speakers coming from the global marketing scene and field of innovations. These will be very engaging lectures and I am sure everyone will find them useful.
#5 What would you tell young people who fight for great ideas and projects?
Stay true to your ideals and constantly raise the quality bar.
