In the series announcing the upcoming Direct Media Academy, Advertiser Serbia interviewed our Media Planning Director Marija Matić.

Marija Matić has participated in more than 50 conferences and roundtables in Serbia and the region and conveys her knowledge to young leaders also through internal training programs. She is the first moderator of the media module within the AcademIAA project, and as a member of the IAA working group for the development of the Serbian code of ethics in marketing communications and advertising, she contributed to writing the code.
To begin with, tell us about the module that will be leading at the upcoming DIRECT MEDIA ACADEMY: What is the name of the module, what are the topics, and who are the speakers? What educational content of each individual topic will be presented to this year’s participants?
The new era brought about by the 4th industrial revolution created a world in which we can communicate in real time regardless of location. For this exact reason, we developed the Communication Planning module, which is intended for anyone who sees this world of communications as a challenge and who want to learn more about it.
From traditional mass media to hyperindividualism and humans themselves as the media.
The module includes lectures, workshops, and development of a specific case study involving the creation of an integrated campaign.
Some of the topics we will be tackling are: How to create a modern campaign, what is important to know when communicating with the target audience and preparing the creative, when to use specific media, what digital has brought, and how to advertise on digital and social media.
The speakers are my colleagues from Direct Media, surely market leaders in their respective fields: Managing Director of Fusion Communications Nevena Kurtović, Head of Creative Voljena Daničić, Digital Account Manager Miloš Aleksić, Research Manager Danko Kardović, and Market Researcher Milica Crnomarković.
