Start-ups to showcase at the Kaktus conference
Last week at ICT Hub, eight MarTech Challenge semifinalists appeared before the jury panel and three teams went into the final round to compete for the best emerging start-up in marketing.
The jury made up of DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions CEO Jovan Stojanović, ICT HUB Founder & DNA Communications General Manager Dejan Ranđić, Startup Ecosystem Digital Serbia Initiative Program Director Zoja Kukić, Netokracija Co-Founder & Managing Director Marko Mudrinić, and Marketing mreža Founder & CEO Ivana Parčetić Mitić has selected three teams to complete the mentoring program run by ICT Hub and DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions representatives, which will allow them to improve their businesses, expand their networks in the marketing industry, and prepare for the final round as best as they can.
The MarTech finalists’ final presentations will take place at the fifth national integrated communications festival Kaktus 2019 on Innovation Day, October 29. During the festival, all of the start-ups that applied for MarTech Challenge and Kaktus 2019 will go through marketing sessions in different areas of business, media, and marketing communications.
The MarTech Challenge winning team will win a trip to one of the most popular marketing technology conferences MarTech Conference, taking place in spring 2020 in California.
MarTech Challenge is a regional competition for tech start-ups founded over the last two years that center on applying new technology in marketing and communications (advertising, data, AI, ML, media, social media). The competition was also open to teams that are yet to launch their start-ups but that have or that are working on ideas or solutions in the marketing field.
DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions launched MarTech Challenge to connect the marketing industry and innovative entrepreneurs and empower the region’s start-up scene in partnership with ICT HUB, Netokracija, and Marketing mreža.
