DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions
With a view to linking up the marketing industry with innovative entrepreneurs and empowering the region’s start-up scene, DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions launched a regional start-up competition zeroed in on marketing and communications.
MarTech Challenge is a regional competition open to all tech start-ups launched over the last two years that focus on the application of new technology in marketing and communications in areas like advertising, data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, media, social media, etc.
The project was launched with the company’s partners ICT HUB, Netokracija, and Marketing mreža.
Applications are open until September 12 on www.martechchallenge.com.
“I would like to invite start-ups that already have finished solutions to apply and at the same time encourage everyone who’s been thinking about marketing technology to come up with solutions by September and submit them to the competition. This will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other better and see how we can help each other,” said Nenad Ilić, Innovation Lead at DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions.
Start-ups that make the MarTech competition shortlist will complete a mentoring program run by ICT HUB and DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions in September and October, which will allow them to improve their business, meet new contacts in the marketing industry, and fully arm up for the final round of the competition set to take place in October.
The winning team will be rewarded with a trip to one of the most anticipated conferences in the field of marketing technology in the United States and a mentoring program run by DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions. On top of it — and perhaps most importantly — DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions will be promoting the team through its partner network as the 2019 regional MarTech Rising Star start-up.
The final presentation of the MarTech Challenge finalists will take place in late October at the 5th iteration of the national integrated communications festival KAKTUS 2019. During the festival, every start-up that signed up for the MarTech competition will get free mentoring sessions in different segments of business, media, and marketing communications.
The MarTech Challenge project was kicked off in early 2019 with a view to bringing together marketers and innovative tech entrepreneurs in one place. Through monthly gatherings and presentations of the best real-life examples in both Serbia and the world, DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions wants to make a positive impact the development of the region’s MarTech community through and through.
“Big companies are the ones that need to actively move the industry forward, while at the same time we’re witnessing individuals whose ingenious ideas shifted entire markets and the only previously known ways of doing business. We believe in the synergy of these two sectors in creating the MarTech community, which brought together like this can make serious difference,” said Nenad Ilić.
Start-ups that are interested in the competition or partnering up can get more information via email at email@example.com.
