For starters, can you tell us about the name and content of your talk at this year’s DIRECT MEDIA ACADEMY.
The message we want to send to the public may always stay the same, but the forms of communication are constantly changing. As communication is a very important aspect, my talk addresses precisely this: Communication Today. Since I’ve been in public relations for more than 16 years, I diligently monitor the growth and development of this specific industry segment, as well as the way digital communications and native PR influenced PR content.
Who do you see as prospective DIRECT MEDIA ACADEMY participants who should hear you speak?
This year’s Direct Media Academy opens its door to anyone who wants to talk about strategy, planning, research, digital, PR, social media, innovation, modern methods and tools, and trends. This means that this year’s DM Academy will be a place where we will be able to share our expertise and comprehensive insight into marketing communications, together with our colleagues, partners, entrepreneurs, friends, and everyone else who’s interested.
What are the main educational objectives of your talk?
I want the participants to become aware and be constantly alert to the novelties and changes in the communications industry.
Personalization of messages, real-time communication, and two-way communication are key in modern communication with target audiences, and my main objective is for the participants to apply this knowledge and to talk to consumers in the right place, at the right time, and in the right way.
What are the (educational) benefits for those who come to hear you speak?
The central benefit is an in-depth understanding of the forms and channels of communication in today’s world.
